Students entering the labour market are facing the challenge of how to stand out from other graduates. This is why it becomes necessary to develop competencies also outside the university and gain professional experience in an international environment.
As Jakub Bejnarowicz, CIMA Regional Director – Europe says, “In today’s VUCA world (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) companies encounter a turbulent business reality, seeking for experts in their teams who can transform data into information that can improve the entire organization, who can conduct business narratives, generate new solutions and effectively cooperate with internal and external stakeholders. CIMA has been meeting the expectations of a changing world for over 100 years. Therefore, the CGMA Professional Qualification is a set of competences recognized globally as the most up-to-date in the area of finance and business. Holders of the CIMA diploma are professionals highly valued in the business community, actively sought by employers from every industry, performing important advisory roles in the structures of the organization”.

AICPA & CIMA is partnering with the best universities in Poland to create the CIMA & University Program, which is implemented through selected courses at the university. Students who complete all required courses are exempt from specific CIMA exams, and after passing the final external exam, they can obtain a CIMA diploma at two levels (Certificate and operational):
Certificate Level — receive a CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and the part-qualified designatory letters ‘CIMA Cert BA’ upon learning about financial aspects of business, the relationship between specific areas of accounting and the needs of modern business.
Operational Level — receive a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting and the part-qualified designatory letters ‘CIMA Dip MA’ after passing this level with in-demand and applicable business skills. Topics include preparing financial statements, relevant information for management accounting and how to use appropriate decision-making tools using extensive knowledge about the functioning of a company.
First-cycle (Bachelor) students from the 2nd to the 5th semester of their studies and Postgraduate students should start at the Certificate level. Second-cycle (Master) students from 1st to 2nd semester can join the Program at the Operational level. The CIMA & University Program enables you to start studying the CGMA qualification as part of your degree, whether you’re a full-time or part-time student. All exams in the Program are in English and at least a B2 (CEFR upper intermediate) level is required. Participation in the program involves a registration fee and the cost of an external exam.
The CIMA & University Program admissions take place throughout October.
