The educational content provided in the Finance and Accounting program at the Faculty of Economics of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University complies with the requirements of AICPA & CIMA, allowing both undergraduate and graduate students, in full-time and part-time studies, to obtain certification from this international organization. CGMA candidates at UMCS who complete the required subjects are exempt from some of the exams conducted by CIMA, and after passing the external final exam, they can obtain a diploma confirming the completion of one of the levels of the CGMA Professional Qualification (Chartered Global Management Accounting):

Participation in the CGMA Program at the University involves a registration fee, an annual subscription fee, and fees for external exams.
New CGMA candidates pay a one-time GBP 99 registration fee, which includes:
Note: first degree students are exempt from the annual subscription fee for the entire duration of their studies.
Continuing your studies with CIMA
If you are already a CGMA candidate and you have your AICPA account, you don’t need to complete the process again. In this case, please just remember to settle your annual subscription for 2025.
Existing candidates must ensure their subscription is paid before 31 March each year to prevent expiration.
