CIMA announces winners of 2021 CIMA Excellence Awards including three universities in Poland

20 December 2021, Warsaw – The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the world’s leading and largest professional body of management accountants, announced the 71 global and 66 regional and country winners of the second edition of the CIMA Excellence Awards in a virtual ceremony on 10 December 2021. 3 universities from Poland were among the winners: Katowice University of Economics, Cracow University of Economics, SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

Sponsored by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the global accounting organisation representing CIMA and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the annual CIMA Excellence Awards recognise educational institutions and individuals across the world going above and beyond to shape the next generation of Chartered Global Management Accountants and lead the accounting profession into the future.

More than 400 nominations from educational institutions and individuals were submitted this year for consideration in four categories CIMA Teaching Excellence Award, CIMA Research Excellence Award, CIMA Campus Culture Excellence Award and CIMA Employability Excellence Award. In addition, a central award committee selected winners for the CIMA Prize-Winner Excellence Award, CIMA Global Excellence Award, and CGMA Campus of the Year Award based on CIMA exam performance in 2020 and 2021.
